Claiming Masculinity is not a collection of photos intended to "explain" anything to anyone. The project evolved to bring greater visibility to key demographics within the queer and trans communities: the work here is LGBTIQ specific. If additional communities find value in what we have accomplished, we're pleased. The Claiming Masculinity Project begins anew, with an Open Call, beginning 1 May 2011. If you are an nontraditionally masculine person (not born male) and think you might contribute well to this free work, contact me via the link on any page. Please note: Initially, I am now working only with individual project participants, rather than with couples or groups. If you need me to come to you, rather than meeting me at my studio, travel charges will apply.
